Awareness and Prevention

Walking alone in the street is not safe now, not like in the old times, if you left your things, it will return to you, but now it will not return to you anymore, unless its got by a Goodman.

Good person are very few now, because of hard life other turn to bad work just to have a money, can't blame them, they have the reason, what we do is to take extra precaution from them,

Holdaper- this is a person who point a gun or deadly weapon to you to get your things, If you encounter a them just give what they want, then if  they're gone away go to the police immediately, for the police to take action, don't try to fight the Holdaper they are desperate to harm you, To avoid them don't walk without companion, if you‘re alone look the way with many people's walking, or walk in the main street, they attack the place were there is no to much people and in a hide places, 

Be alert specially at night and you are alone, read and feel your surrounding. if you feel danger leave the place immediately, but if you are an expert,  expert in hand to hand combat and you know what to do, do it right away neutralize your opponent and surrender him to the police. that is called citizen arrest under Rules of Court in the Phil. rules 113 sec.6


Snatcher- the one taking thing by grabbing in a second, then runaway, snatch your bag or watch. that is snatcher, don't try to pursue them by yourself they have a secret companion watching you, if you move they will take immediate action against you. to be not their victim, hold your bag show that your bag can't be taken easily, always in front of you, don't wear like gold earring, necklace and other things that attract to them, if you are walking and riding in public transport.


Look the face of the people approaching or coming in, the hand and the waistline, so if you see something unusual in his move or in his body, take precaution, move your eyes don't focus on one site, so you will see what happening around you. sometime we walk like we are not in our self, we didn't notice who passing by on us, this attitude is a prey for a badman because you are not aware of your surrounding they can easily come and get your belonging.


In the vehicle, if you are riding in the public transportation vehicle like bus or jeep, don't sleep while traveling if it cannot be avoided secure you things, be aware who beside you, sometime they use their jacket or big bag to hide their hand, so no one can notice of what they are doing.


One time, i was in public transport, (jeep)  the one sit beside me and the other one sit in front of me, in my side he set his big bag in his lap, big as almost covered the part between us, the other one in front of me was getting my attention, until i notice something, i touch my pocket were my cellphone is their, i was shock it is gone, hopefully their is a string attached in my cellphone that is connected to my belt, when i hold it and fulled i found it in the lap of the one beside me, what i do, i get it and go down immediately from vehicle, then i report them to the authority i found patrolling in the street.


As I say they use big bag to covered his hand to get my things. you should read the people around you. don't fight they are many they didn't move in a single one, they have look out and back up, best thing report to the authority.


In private vehicle, if you are driving a car, don't mind if a man told you that your tire is plat, or he do something to get your attention. don't open your window or your door that their Modus perandi, if you open your window they have a chance already to get your things and runaway. they might grab your earring necklace or bag from window, mostly the one riding in motorcycle, always lock you door.


Mostly the lawless element are train they practice before they do their work, they study the place of their Target were there is no authority of police, they plan everything including the duration of operation, quickness and smoothness,  they patience in waiting in their prey, they are desperate to harm their victim, their job is hard and dangerous but in one time work they got big money.


There is many gadget now that you can use to caught them but as a civilian you have to be careful if they notice you, you will become a story who shot by lawless men. for those who have extra talent well they know what to do.


Today is very dangerous even you are in your house your are not safe anymore, even in the broad daylight they attack, we can't blame the authority they have many job to do, lets just help them if we can do to protect our self, let just do it.


Prayer is the best shield, it happen to me many time when i notice that their a bad men i say a little prayer and God answer me, either they go down or they didn't move until i go down, that the best thing to do ask God to spare you from bad element. "yes said Jesus if you yourself can! Everything is possible for the person who has faith." (Mark 9:23)


Before you leave your house, pray first. God always take care to those who ask His help. sometime we do it on our own way with out consulting God, the reason why we fall. maybe because we believe that we can do it, what we didn't know they are more powerful than us, do not underestimate your enemy if you didn't know them.  


When you pray for help you also save others by faith and prayer. We need God guidance,  (Eph. 6:18)  do all this in prayer, asking for Gods help, pray on every occasion as the spirit leads, for this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all Gods people. (2thes 3:3) but the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen you and keep you safe from the evil one.
