Those who going to swim on sea or pool beware of Skin diseases like Swimmer's itch, also called cercarial dermatitis, is a skin rash caused by an allergic reaction to infection with certain parasites of birds and mammals. These microscopic parasites are released from infected snails that swim in fresh and salt water, such as lakes, ponds, and oceans used for swimming and wading. Infection is found throughout the world. Swimmer's itch generally occurs during summer months. It’s better to take a bath before and after plunging into the sea or pool.

Not taking a bath because of Inadequate water in time of dry season can also cause skin problems. Cleanliness is the best defense against skin diseases.

Sore eyes or viral conjunctivitis is a common eye infection affecting the outer lining of the eyeball the conjunctiva as well as the inner lining of the eyelids. common symptoms are eye redness, stinging and foreign body sensation, itching, and sticky eye discharge. Vision may become blurred from excessive tearing, discharges and from photo-phobia (or extreme glare), caused by the inflammation. It is self-limiting, lasting 7-10 days but with some amount of variability depending on the viral strain. The infection is highly contagious, often resulting in epidemics, as it spreads easily by hand-to-eye primarily and to a lesser degree, droplet contamination. Hand washing can limit its spread.

Flu, short for Influenza, commonly known as the "flu," is an extremely contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza A or B viruses. The flu virus attacks the body by spreading through the upper and/or lower respiratory tract. Flu symptoms such as colds and cough are common during this summer because of unsteady weather condition that sometimes its rains. Cough and colds easily spreads even during the summer month’s people specially the child and Senior citizens are advised to get vaccinated against influenza for flu prevention.

Because of the spreading of the corona-virus that infects the respiratory system, those who are feeling sick must stay home and always cover the nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. Health officials advised.

Beware of street food that came out in time of summer these may be contaminated or have spoiled faster because of the warm weather temperature. That may causes such as “Vomiting and diarrhea" two of many stomach ailment this summer.

Vomiting Causes:

Viruses, bacteria, food poisoning, alcohol, stress and/or pregnancy.

First aid, Let your stomach rest. Refrain from eating or drinking until you feel better (two to four hours). Then start with tiny sips of clear fluids that are not carbonated (e.g., flat ginger ale, 7-Up or Gatorade) for another few hours. Rest until you feel better.

Diarrhea a Frequent and watery bowel movements:

Causes: Viruses, bacteria, food poisoning, stress and/or specific food sensitivities

First aid, Drink clear fluids and limit your foods to Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast. Avoid over-the-counter medications and let the illness run its course. If symptoms persist, try Imodium AD.

When summer some dogs and cat are roaming around the street, they can accidentally bite people and infect rabies. Rabies infections from dog or cat bites are potentially fatal diseases. Keep away from them. If you are a dog owner Make sure your dogs are vaccinated against rabies, take care of your dog to avoid problem to you and to others. Go to Vet. Doctor if someone got bite bites by dog or cat for proper treatment and rabies vaccination.

Prevention is the best medicine.

How we can infect by Rabbies.

Every pet owner should know for their pet and the people around their pet, I’m a pet owner too of 2 dogs, they are lovely but sometimes I was afraid that they might bite me, whatever we say they are still animal, for all we know if we saw a dog the first thing comes in our mind is the rabies. We know also that if we bite by the dog the cure is a lot of injection, and I’m afraid of injection. So first thing we should do is, our pet or dog must be vaccinated as the law required.

What is Rabies?

Rabies (from Latin: rabies, "madness") is a viral disease that causes acute encephalitis in warm-blooded animals.

Rabies is a preventable viral disease of mammals most often transmitted through the bite of a rabid animal. Any animal bitten or scratched by either a wild, carnivorous mammal or a bat that is not available for testing should be regarded as having been exposed to rabies.

How the rabies transmitted to human?

The disease is zoonotic, meaning it can be transmitted to humans from another species like dogs. Commonly by a bite from an infected animal. For a human, rabies is almost invariably fatal if postexposure prophylaxis is not administered prior to the onset of severe symptoms. The rabies virus infects the central nervous system, ultimately causing disease in the brain and death.

How it works in the body?

The rabies virus travels to the brain by following the peripheral nerves. The incubation period of the disease is usually a few months in humans, depending on the distance the virus must travel to reach the central nervous system. Once the rabies virus reaches the central nervous system and symptoms begin to show, the infection is virtually untreatable and usually fatal within days. So, don’t wait for months, if the animals like dog bite you seek immediate action.

What are the symptoms of rabies for a person?

The first symptoms of rabies may be very similar to those of the flu including general weakness or discomfort, fever, or headache. These symptoms may last for days. There may be also discomfort or a prickling or itching sensation at the site of bite, progressing within days to symptoms of cerebral dysfunction, anxiety, confusion, agitation. As the disease progresses, the person may experience delirium, abnormal behavior, hallucinations, and insomnia. The acute period of disease typically ends after 2 to 10 days. Once clinical signs of rabies appear, the disease is nearly always fatal, and treatment is typically supportive and the primary cause of death is usually respiratory insufficiency.

Signs and Symptoms of Rabies for animals

Once infection occurs, in the animal, the rabies virus grows in muscle tissue and may go undetected for several days or months. During this incubation period, the animal appears healthy and shows no sign of infection. Usually within 1 to 3 months, the virus migrates to the nerves near the site of the infection and spreads to the spinal cord and brain (the central nervous system). It usually takes from 12 to 180 days to spread through the peripheral nerves to the central nervous system. At this point, the disease progresses rapidly, and the animal begins to show the classic behavioral signs of rabies. The virus spreads to the saliva, tears, breast milk and urine. The animal usually dies in 4 or 5 days. The infection progresses in a predictable manner,

The first sign usually is a change in behavior. Pet owners should be aware that behavioral changes can occur as a result of many conditions, from digestive disorders to poisoning. The early symptoms of rabies tend to be subtle, last 2 to 3 days. Symptoms included,

  • Animals usually stop eating and drinking, and may appear to want to be left alone.
  • Change in tone of the dog's bark, chewing at the bite site, Fever, Loss of appetite
  • Craving to eat anything, including inedible objects
  • Constant growling and barking
  • Dilated pupils, Disorientation, Erratic behavior, Episodes of aggression,
  • Facial expression showing anxiety and hyperalertness, Irritability,
  • No fear of natural enemies (e.g., wild animals may not be afraid of people), Restlessness, Roaming, Seizures,
  • Trembling and muscle incoordination, Paralytic Phase, Appearance of choking, Dropping of the lower jaw (in dogs)
  • Inability to swallow, leading to drooling and foaming of saliva (i.e., "foaming at the mouth"),
  • The Became Mad Dog "Mad Dog Syndrome"
  • An infected dog may viciously attack any moving object, person, or animal; a caged rabid dog will chew the wire, break their teeth, and try to bite a hand moving in front of the cage. Rabid cats will attack suddenly, biting and scratching. Foxes will invade yards and attack dogs, cows, and porcupines.

After the initial onset of symptoms, the animal may become vicious or begin to show signs of paralysis. Paralysis of jaw, throat, and chewing muscles. some rabid animals bite at the slightest provocation and others may be somnolent and difficult to arouse. Once the animal shows signs of paralysis, the disease progresses very quickly.

Treatment and prevention

Treatment after exposure is highly successful in preventing the disease if administered promptly, in general within 10 days of infection.
Give the patients one dose of human rabies immunoglobulin (HRIG) and four doses of rabies vaccine over a 14-day period. The immunoglobulin dose should not exceed 20 units per kilogram body weight As much as possible of this dose should be infiltrated around the bites, with the remainder being given by deep intramuscular injection at a site distant from the vaccination site.
The pain and side effects of modern cell-based vaccines are similar to flu shots. The old nerve-tissue-based vaccinations that require multiple painful injections into the abdomen with a large needle are inexpensive, but are being phased out and replaced by affordable World Health Organization intradermal-vaccination regimens.

Secondary prevention: stopping infection in its tracks.

If a person is bitten by a rabid animal, it is still possible to prevent rabies if the individual quickly receives appropriate medical treatment. The treatment - known as rabies postexposure prophylaxis, consists of immediately washing bite wounds, thoroughly washing the wound as soon as possible with soap and water for approximately five minutes is very effective in reducing the number of viral particles. Receiving rabies immune globulin (pre-formed antibodies that begin to immediately neutralize rabies virus), and getting a series of vaccine doses. If received appropriately and shortly after exposure, postexposure prophylaxis is nearly 100 percent effective in preventing rabies from developing.

Rabies affects both to human and animal, so, we should take care our pet as well taking care of our selves, maintain cleanliness both in our place and their place.

How to Creat an Event?

Event from http://themobilemarketer.wordpress.com

Event is an occurrence happening at a determinable time and place, with or without the participation of human agents. It may be a part of a chain of occurrences as an effect of a preceding occurrence and as the cause of a succeeding occurrence.

Occurrence of social or personal importance. A social occasion or activity. (From business dict and Webster dict) I‘m talking about event gathering, occasion, a social activity, and promotional event, this kind of event can be created by anyone, any individual or a company who want to introduce something, whatever it is, for a cause or for cash. When you launch an event individual or corporate event particularly you have a product to introduce from your own and from your sponsors. Of course you have to gather more people or participant in your event, it’s important to entertain them, keep them focus on the subject of the event. Determine the purpose of the event, this will help you determine the formality of the event, as well as more functional considerations such as where to hold it, a nice and accessible venue that suits your event is good. Estimate how many people might be expected, and what food or drinks to serve.

In conducting an event you have to consider everything especially the participant/attendees. You have to plan the event carefully.  A clear purpose and understanding of what you want to achieve Ensuring your customers/attendees experience starts way before they even step through the ‘event’ door.

How to prepare the event you want to launch?

  • Understand your objectives, well defined goals for the event. You or get an event organizer, who understands what’s required in the event so you can have an organize an unforgettable event.
  • Choose the right set of people you’ll work with on the event, like a team in the registrations/reception, blogger/social media, speaker, recorder, technical team/support, and photographer, specially the emcee or entertaining person to host the event. To keep the mood of participant light, direct their attention to the event's agenda, and keep things moving.
  • Create visually large displays of the event theme. For greater impact and attention. And also to entertain and to inform, like, banners, projections, or videos that can advertise and inform about a product of the event and sponsors.
  • Put a sound system to play some unobtrusive background music, or a big entertainment factor of a live band to lighten the mood of attendees/participant as part of entertainments.
  • Make all your website, marketing literature is available & clearly stating what the event is all about, informing the attendees of the value and benefits they will get in the event, an online event registration forms and send personal invitations to the invitees. A social media for your event on Twitter and Face book to get feedback from participant during and after the event.
  • Provide value added content both before and after the event Making everyone feel welcome and included throughout the whole event.
  • Prepare and gave them an event-themed gifts labelled with your product name, logo, or theme, provide an JD or a name tag for the staff organizer and participant to display their name for proper identification as a participant or a organizer and other material that will serve as a remembrance and souvenirs, for some reason that the souvenirs is limited you can gave it in the way of raffle, but at least you must provide an item that everybody can have it. Provide a certificate of attendance for participant, certificate of participation for speaker and for your staff. People who value their work are always keeping a record of his work, like a certificate.

Make your event interactive, get involve in your participant/attendees as much as possible, you, and the event organizer should interact with your attendees, and spend time with them.

Serve a breakfast, lunch and snacks, sometime dinner is included, good food that fit the theme of your event and make an advance order to create no confusion and hassle to the attendees, they can eat in time. Provide an hour for question and answer for the participant and speaker.

In the last hour of the event make sure there are no last minute hiccups. Present highlights of your next event, make sure your participants walk away feeling like they are important to you and your company. Take a group picture with participant and organizer.

Have a celebration, a get together with your team, organizer and speaker after, for your successful event, it a nice move to gain a future support from them for your next event.

Gun shooting: How to get the right sight for person with unbalance sight.

When you own a gun you must familiarize it to get your best shot but for the people who has an unbalance sight they have to take extra experiment to get the right sight.

Picture A

If your vision is unbalance, the tendency is, when you point your gun on the target and look at the sight you will saw two image of gun, (Picture A) as well as the target, one is clear and one is dim, the clear one is from your clear eye, the dim one is from your defective eyes.

There are many techniques in shooting but I want to focus on this matter for the people who have unbalance vision

It’s confusing when you saw two sights and two targets, you can’t hit the target. Like me, I have an unbalance sight I can’t hit properly the target, after my own study and familiarization I already got my proper sight,

For those who have unbalance sight and still having hardship to get their proper sight like me here how I solve this problem. If you want to learn this you have to get a replica of gun, don’t you ever do it with the real gun. Let’s do the experiment.

  • Do it first in dry fire, dry fire means, target shooting with no magazine and bullet loaded in the gun chamber, and set the target, a clear small target that can clearly see, even in one eye.

  • Point the gun on the target and with your left or right eye, on the gun site or whichever eye you want to use according to your sight, one eye close, the front and rear sight must be level, you can see a clear gun rear and front sight and the target.

  • Then on that position, open your left eye, you will see two shadows of gun sight and two targets.  Close again your left eye slowly you will notice the left shadow of gun sight merger to the right shadow of target and the right shadow of target merger to the left shadow of the target.

Now, let’s get the sight to the right target,

  • As you can see the merging of the sight and the target,

  • Close your left eye, open eye (right) was on the gun site, you will see the shadow of gun in the right are pointing to the left shadow of the target,

  • Then changed, use you left eye. Close your right eye, and the left eye was open, the shadow of a gun in the left side is pointing to the right shadow of target.

After this process you can already establish which sight you will use, left or right sight.

Now get your right sight that you want to use as a dominant eye in shooting.

  • If you want to use your right eye as a dominant eye in shooting, focus on left shadow of a gun pointing to the right target,

  • If you want a left eye, focus on the right shadow of the gun pointing to the left shadow of target. You should practice and familiarized this.

After this study and familiarization go to the shooting range for live bullet familiarization,

  • Wear a proper gadget for your safety,

  • Practice first the right sight with left eye close, see if you can hit the target with this sight

  • Then follow the left sight with right eye close,

  • Then if you establish the right and best sight for you to use as your dominant sight.

  • Practice with both eyes open; use your dominant eye that you can use every gun shooting session.

  • Practice it until you make it perfect.

This is for shooter who have unbalances sight and shooting with both eyes open, using your choose sight, left or right.

As a shooter you should shoot with both eyes open, so, you have a wide range of view. To see anything from your sides, it’s not advisable to shoot with one eye is closed; it’s like a horse with limited view.

Happy shooting.

One sided Leader, how to treat them?

How would you treat a leader who let say one sided, he didn’t consider the feeling of his follower or member, but the only member who pleasing in his sight, maybe because this member is doing all his desire, or close to his heart. I have been encountering this kind of leader. This matter is not happening in the group only, also in all occasion like event between the participant and organizer. In a company between supervisor and regular employee. its justifiable that sometimes the leader become hot temper because of their big responsibility as a leader, sometime they loss composure, its forgivable but the others, its their attitude, in all aspect, they are really self-centered, if they didn’t like the person, even this person has done nothing with them, they put this person in suffering in their hand. This kind of leader has no right to become one of. But because of their ability that the organization or the company need, they were hired. In the part of regular employee or a follower this leader are the problem and threat to their position. This kind of situation is really a problem and stressful, if you know that you leader always looking for you fault, you can’t focus on your job.

How can we treat or coop this intrigable situation. Here is a tips base on my experience.

Be friend your leader, how we can do this if he doesn’t want us, do something that please him, help him to fix his things in the office.

If you can’t be friend with your leader because he really doesn’t want you, let him but don’t do what he is doing, it in the bible that you should follow your master whether he is good or bad, what he do to you he will pay it to God.

Do your job rightfully so he can’t saw something that he can pin you down.

Don’t mind him whatever he do to you, as long as you’re doing your duty.

Be courteous to your boss even he doing bad to you, think that you’re working for God not for men and everything will be alright because God is on your side, he is the one who keep you in your job.

Even they are cruel we should follow them because they are our leader, God put them to be over us, and they are accountable to God.

How to handle Criticism?

Naturally we doesn’t like if someone disagree with us, or criticized us So how we can  stand hearing criticism, face criticism or maybe even benefit from it? First thing is, we must learn to accept it, what is criticism? it is an act of criticizing, a judgment passed or expressed, an observation or detailed examination and review. We can’t control what other people will say to us, whether they’ll approve us or form opinions and share them. But we can control how we internalize it, respond to it, and learn from it, release it then move on.  It will lead us to unnecessary suffering if we respond to it without careful consideration. maybe someone is just want to suggest you a correct matter, or maybe just telling you what is his opinion, so, we should not got easily mad.

What we should do and benefits from criticism

1. Calm down so you can focus on what the person is really trying to tell you. Listen first to his words.
2. Hearing useful criticism or hard advice Ask questions only to understand, most criticism are based, at least in part, on some truths. It may appear negative. But, through this we have the opportunity to learn and improve ourselves their suggestions.
3. We need to separate the criticism from the style of criticism. Like confrontational manner. Even if people speak in a tone of anger, we should try to detach their emotion from the useful suggestions which lie underneath.
4. Sometimes we only value praise if people speak kind words and we feel angry when other speak criticism, if we only accept a kind words we can’t progress, If we want to improve and develop we should accept constructive criticism and appreciate their suggestions.
5. Don’t respond immediately it is best to wait a little before responding. If we respond with feelings of anger or injured pride we will soon regret it. If we wait patiently it can enable us to reflect in a calmer way.
6. Keep on Smiling, even a false smile, can help us to relax more. It creates a positive vibration and smooths the situation. It will help psychologically and motivate the other person to come and approach you moderately

A benefits from criticism.

1. Criticism encourages humility. It’s not easy to take an honest look at yourself and your weaknesses, but you can only grow if you look their criticism
2. Critique gives you a tool to more effectively create the tomorrow you visualize. It opens you up to new perspectives and new ideas you may not have considered.
3. You have the chance to practice forgiveness when you come up against harsh critics. Most of us carry around stress and frustration that we unintentionally misdirect from time to time.
4. Criticism gives you the chance to foster problem solving skills, which isn’t always easy when you’re feeling sensitive, self-critical, or annoyed with your critic.
5. Interpreting someone else’s feedback is an opportunity for rational thinking, sometimes, despite a negative tone, criticism is incredibly useful.
6. Criticism presents an opportunity to choose peace over conflict. Oftentimes, when criticized our instinct is to fight, creating unnecessary drama. The people around us generally want to help us, not judge us.
7. Criticism gives you the chance to teach people how to treat you. If someone delivers it poorly, you can take this opportunity to tell them, “I think you make some valid points, but I would receive them better if you didn’t raise your voice.”
8. If you improve how you operate after receiving criticism, this will save time and energy in the future. When you think about from that perspective, criticism as a time saver, it’s hard not to appreciate it!

Criticism is a part of our life, even our family criticized us, we can handle it if we response positively to the criticism.
