Lazarus and the Rich Man

I remember the story of the Rich man and Lazarus in the book of Luke chapter 16 verses 19-31 in the bible, sometime we been persecuted in many ways. 

Lazarus was a poor and covered with sore in his body he has no house or shelter, he use to be brought to the door of the house of a rich man, some dog also come, hoping to get a bit of food that fell in the rich man table. 

One day Lazarus died and go to the place of father Abraham, in heaven, the rich man also died and he go to the place called hell, a very hot place, he look up and saw Abraham with Lazarus he called out, father Abraham take pity on me send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in some water and touch my tongue because I'm in great pain in this fire, but Abraham said, in your lifetime you have everything, while Lazarus got all the bad things, now he is enjoying here, you‘re in great pain and there is a deep pit between us so no one can cross over from here to you. the rich man said can you send Lazarus to my fathers house i have 5 brothers to warn them so they will not fall in this place of pain, but Abraham said their‘s Moises and the Prophet books and the rich man said but if someone back from the dead they might believe and turn from their sin. Abraham said if they didn't believe in Moises and the Prophet how come they believe in the dead. 

In today views,  Lazarus represent to the believers and the rich man represent to the unbelievers and persecutor. take courage brethren when we are persecuted in many ways we know God is our refuge, we suffer today but tomorrow we will be happy. like me, i'm not persecuted about my faith, but persecuted about the things i did not do, there is people who always looking fault in you, even you did not do the thing, they are pressing it to you. always looking your fault not your good manners. 

This story of Lazarus and the rich man inspired me to be strong, to hope that someday i will get my reward, to put my trust in God, it is not only to believe but Faith.

I'm Emman, Emmanuel for long he-he! means "God is with us", i was born on the month of December maybe this month is the reason why my Parents gave this name to me, a christian name for Christmas season. In social media i use the name "emmanfb" F from my middle name and the letter B for my surname. I'm trying hard blogger, ho-ho! Or self proclaimed blogger this is what make me busy right now even when I'm in my work my mind keep thinking of what i will blog, its started when i acquire my new android cellphone it so easy to write a blog just write in note application then send it to your email then copy paste to Blogger site presto its a blog. For me i do it just for pastime. Just blogging. Its truly pastime, if you making a blog you didn't mind the time, it passed without knowing what is the time is. I have no training on blogging, I just read the Rules and the meaning of Blogging. I'm not fond in English, just for fun. My blog is about my life, my experience and other topic or issued in our society. When i was in high school i wrote a story in one Pocket book Publishing Company  but i fail to submit it because i didn't finish it, that the time when i shift to read Bible. Now I use to blog maybe for serious purposes, i just take extra care because now there is a cyber-crime law and I don't want to hurt anybody, I want to maintain the "even when online we/I'm Christian"  i have blog in wordpress, tumblr. Christmas.

A Traditional Christmas day is coming, a believer rushed to shop for the things for Christmas, that's why when Christmas day is coming the traffic get worst, more coming out, more car filling in the parking. its also a time for other to take advantage, increase the price of their product, also a time for lawless element, they thought that people have a lot of money in this season. 

Department store and Supermarket filled with people, everyone want to celebrate the Christmas, even the bible believing christian who did not believe that Jesus is born on Dec 25 also celebrate Christmas, some says  its a tradition, That reason is a escape goat just to join in the season, well that's there decision. 

The poor and rich alike are gearing up in the shopping place, people around the world celebrating Christmas for a tradition they say its just only once a year why don't we give it all, emotions filled, loving caring, bonuses and 13th months pay. other people was making a loan just to please the Christmas season, maybe because they have many god daughter and god son, a loving god parents, huh! those who is really have no money they leave the house to hide, a tradition too. for others Christmas time was really hard because it cause lots of money to celebrated, gift, food, new dress, new things, if you follow the trend you really need more money to please people around you, especially your family, then after Christmas here come, you gonna pay your loan, you have to budget your money, but its okay at least you please the people around you on Christmas day, its just once a year. 

By the way, where's the Christmas comes from, others believe that its a day that Jesus Christ was born on Dec 25, two thousand years ago but lately one of highest person in one religion claim that they miscalculate the date of when Jesus was born, no impact for there followers sound like, so what, we will still believe what we believed. 

Other says that it come from pagan celebration those who believe in idol, there's lot more explanation where this Christmas comes from or begin, a true believer didn't join in that celebration as the bible say, well, whatever it is, it is a celebration for a decade, its up to you if you want to believe or not in Christmas, we are all for Christ literally, i believe in Christ, not in tradition. you can give love, care, gift, everyday if you want.

LIFE, what is life? 
Life is the existence, the state of being alive and leaving from birth to death according to Dictionary but as for me, "Life is God" if not in God you have no life, God is the giver of life, every living thing on earth, their life is from God. 

Although God give us Parents, our life is from God, God is our Father, as the bible say from the womb of our mother God already give us life. Our body, our soul and our spirit was from God. 

According to the Old Testament of the bible, God make a man from the dust, and become a living soul. When we baptized the Spirit from God come to us. So we must valued our life its a gift from God. 

In Christian views, we are just a passer in this World, our true home is in God holy city, what is your life in this earth was reflected in our life in the future. good or bad. But God is gracious he offer a Good life through his Son Jesus Christ.

"I am now giving you the choice between Life and Death, between God‘s blessings and God‘s curse and I call heaven and earth, to witness the choice you make, choose Life."  Det.30:19TEV

Bullying: How can we prevent it, how can we protect our kids?

In dictionary Bullying is an act of intimidating a weaker person to do something especially such repeated coercion. It also an aggressive behaviour that is intentional it can be done by any person even your family by words, or by our action,, sometime our action affect to others, bullying is not just for a kids in school who bullied by classmate. Bullying also means is persistent act intended to make life unpleasant for another person. If you act become unpleasant to another that's bullying,

Bullying consist of abuse or repeated act.  Emotional, Verbal, by hurting someone with insult, and Physical, by hitting or betting.  It happened in kindergarten to high school, also to the person of child who is new or transferee in the school. Include those who have a disability or children who are not adept at making friends and have little social support. Obesity is also a significant risk factor for being a victim of bullies.

I‘m too, is a victim of bullying when I was in Grade School and it give a big impact in myself, until now it’s so fresh in my mind. But after that it make me strong, I've learned to stand alone, I’ve  learned not to depend to other, even today I experience bullying but I learned to respond.

What is the effect of bullying?

Negativity, perform poorly academically, depression, personal life disorder, and many other risk factor that sometimes can lead to suicide, but let’s  not allow this to happen.

Bullying is a common part of childhood. But parents can help kids cope with it and lessen its lasting impact. How can we teach our child to fight it?

• Teach them not to speak to a stranger
• Tell to your child what is bullying is, hitting or pushing another child is wrong and other form of bullying that can hurt other child.
• Tell them that there are a people who bullied others, in this way they will aware of it.
• Tell her what to do in case she experiences or witnesses bullying,to alert a teacher right away if he sees bullying behaviour.
• Teach your child how to handle resolves situation that arise in his life when he encounter bullies.
• Teach your child to have a high self esteem, self confidence and self worth.
• Teach them to be strong against bullying, to face it and stand, tell them their right not to be bullied.
• Teach our child to respond but not to fight fist for fist to bullying. Someone bullied other because they saw the person was weak, but if they saw the person is strong they will not bully it.
• Know about their friends and the details about their interactions with classmates and peers, in this way you can identify easily who bullying them.
• Establish good communication with your child so that they will knows that you are someone they can go to when they has a problem.

For the kids or person who might be a victim of bullying.

• Avoid them in school and other social situations. If they go the same way you do, try a different way, its good than to confront them.
• Don’t show the bullies that you feel hurt if they do something that makes you uncomfortable; or hurt you, just walk off, they gain satisfaction from making others feel hurt.
• Report them to the authority, your teacher or to your parents, talk to someone like your friend, don’t worry about revenge that the bully may take if you report them, they will hurt you anyway and appeasing them doesn't solve your problem.

Bullying can happen to anyone, to the kids and to the adults, it can happen anytime, anywhere.

GREAT experience

Taken from New Era University in the Celebration of INC LIFE, last Oct. 31 - Nov. 4. 2012

I joined in the Celebration for 4 days, visited the Exhibit showing how the Church of Christ started and Grown. How amazing the Church of Christ and member has proliferate around the World Propagating the Gospel of God. Until the last day of celebration I was there, its a great experience to meet the brother and sister in Christ that comes from the Province and from other part of the Philippines. In the 3rd days of event I cannot imagine how full of brethren comes at INC life, the registration has stopped, the computer cannot accommodate already the registration of all brethren, seems like all the brethren around the Philippines comes to participate in the event. Until in the evening of Nov. 4, last day of the event, the brethren still coming want to visit the exhibit for the last hours of the celebration. It was a great experience for me, I'm new member of the Church but I feel already how the member followed the Executive Minister, the love for each other as a brother and sister in Christ and how to be unite in one accord. 

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity" (PS. 133:1) 

I'm  proud to be a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, Church of Christ, a blessed Church.
